Weather hazards expected... Marginal thunderstorm wind damage risk. Limited lightning risk. Limited excessive rainfall risk Elevated Fog risk. DISCUSSION... Areas of dense fog with visibility limited to a half mile or less will be possible over central and part of southwest Missouri through the mid morning hours. A few thunderstorms will be possible today over extreme southeast Kansas into far western Missouri. The stronger storms may be capable of wind gusts up to 50 mph along with extremely heavy rainfall and cloud to ground lightning. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Additional storms will develop across the central plains and could track into the area late tonight into Sunday morning. Some gusty winds will be possible with this activity mainly along and west of Interstate 49. A chance of thunderstorms exists daily Sunday into the middle of next week generally in the 15 to 50 percent chance range. Lightning and heavy rain will be the main risks with any thunderstorms.
