This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated lightning risk.
  Elevated excessive rainfall risk
  Limited Fog risk.

DISCUSSION...

Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move through the
region this morning into tonight. Some thunderstorms could be
strong and bring intense rainfall rates. There may be localized rate-
driven flash flood concerns in areas that see prolonged periods of
heavy rainfall.

A very moist environment will be favorable for fog formation in
places that are not actively receiving precipitation. Fog could be
locally dense, dropping visibility below a half mile.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Showers and storms will continue into Friday. Storms are not
expected to be severe.

Additional fog development may occur Friday morning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
