This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited hail risk.
  Elevated lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorms will develop overnight for locations along and
south of Interstate 44. Primary hazards are hail to the size of
quarters and frequent lightning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Additional strong to severe thunderstorms possible on Thursday
afternoon through Thursday night. Primary risks include large
hail and damaging wind gusts...with a limited chance for a
tornado.

Daily shower and thunderstorm chances continue through through
the weekend. This includes the potential for strong to severe
thunderstorms and localized flash flooding. The highest risk
occurs late Saturday into Sunday.

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
