Weather hazards expected... Limited lightning risk. Elevated excessive rainfall risk DISCUSSION... Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will remain possible late this evening into the overnight hours mainly along and southeast of Interstate 44. Lightning and localized heavy rainfall will be the risk with any storms through tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. A chance of thunderstorms exists Monday across the eastern Ozarks. Gusty winds, nuisance flooding, and lightning are the main hazards. Severe thunderstorms are possible late Tuesday night with damaging winds and large hail as the main hazards. A greater severe risk for much of the area is then possible Wednesday. There are still some uncertainties in storm mode, but all hazards could be possible. Heat index values may approach 100 degrees by the middle of next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
