...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN HICKORY...
NORTHWESTERN DALLAS AND NORTHERN POLK COUNTIES THROUGH 315 AM CDT...
At 243 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Wheatland to near Fair Play. Movement was
east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Bolivar, Pomme de Terre Lake, Pomme De Terre State Park, Pittsburg,
Polk, Urbana, Halfway, Flemington, Louisburg, Tunas, Elkton, Goodson,
and Nemo.
