.Synopsis for the far Southern California coast...
At 2 AM, a 1025 mb high was 1500 nautical miles west of Los
Angeles, and a 1009 mb low was 100 nautical miles southwest of
San Diego. A storm system moves through the region today,
bringing gusty winds up to 35 knots through this afternoon, steep
seas, and periods of heavy rain with reduced visibility.
Additionally, there is a chance for thunderstorms through late
today, with further information in the Marine Weather Statement.
Weaker, but breezy onshore flow will return Saturday night and
Sunday, before strengthening again Monday.
