.Synopsis for the far Southern California coast...
At 2 AM, a 1005 mb low at the core of tropical cyclone Juliette
was 300 nautical miles west of Punta Eugenia Mexico. A 1020 mb
high was 600 nautical miles west of San Francisco and a 1011 mb
low covered southwest Arizona. There is a slight chance of
thunderstorms this afternoon. Any thunderstorm could produce
gusty, erratic winds leading to locally rough seas, along with
lightning and hail. Otherwise, generally weak onshore flow will
prevail Friday through Monday.
