.Synopsis for the far Southern California coast...
At 1 AM, a 1028 mb high was 500 nautical miles west of Cape
Mendocino and extended east to southeast Oregon. A 1010 mb low
extended from Mexicali to San Felipe, Mexico. Weak onshore flow
this morning will turn offshore this afternoon and strengthen for
tonight into Thursday. Onshore northwest flow will return later
Thursday. Weak offshore flow during the nights and mornings will
alternate with weak onshore flow during the afternoons and
evenings Friday through Sunday.
