.Synopsis for the far Southern California coast...
At 1 PM, a 1020 mb high was 750 nautical miles west of San Diego
and a 1008 mb low (Tropical Storm Priscilla) was 450 miles south
of San Diego. Onshore flow will increase for today through
Saturday, with northwest wind gusts occasionally exceeding 20
knots around San Clemente Island during the afternoons and
evenings, highest on Saturday. A coastal eddy will develop
tonight and continue into Sunday, followed by a weaker and
intermittent eddy through Monday. Another weather system will move
in from the north bringing increasing southerly flow and a chance
of showers by Tuesday into early Wednesday.
