...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 944 AM PDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following
  county, San Bernardino.

* WHEN...Until 944 AM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 743 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have
    fallen Onyx Peak.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are
    expected over the area, including Big Bear Lake. This
    additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Big Bear City, Onyx Summit, Mount San Gorgonio, eastern
    Lucerne Valley, Big Bear Lake, Hwy 38 Between Onyx Summit And
    Sugarloaf, Baldwin Lake, Hwy 18 Between Baldwin Lake And
    Lucerne Valley, Hwy 38 Between Yucaipa And Onyx Summit and
    Seven Oaks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
