.DISCUSSION...
Increasing cloud cover will begin to cool the region by Tuesday.
A chance for showers and thunderstorms will occur across much of
the region by Tuesday morning with best chances for thunderstorms
being away from the coast by the afternoon hours. Any storms may
be accompanied by gusty and erratic winds, cloud to ground lightning,
and heavy rain. Chances of thunderstorms remain in the forecast each
afternoon through Saturday across the mountains and deserts, locally
into valleys just west of the mountains. Drier and cooler weather
will occur by the end of the week.
