.DISCUSSION...
Slightly below normal temperatures and typical afternoon sea
breezes through Tuesday. A 2000 ft marine layer this morning will
lower to around 1000-1500 ft the remainder of the week. Hot
weather returns beginning on Wednesday, peaking Thursday and
Friday before minor cooling next weekend. Monsoon moisture will
return by midweek with a 15-25% chance of showers and
thunderstorms over the mountains and high desert Thursday
afternoon. Chances increase to around 20-45% for Friday and
Saturday afternoon and evening for all mountains and deserts. Hot
and unstable weather will result in mixing heights of 15-17 kft or
more over the mountains and high deserts Thursday and Friday.
