.DISCUSSION...
A low pressure system off the West Coast will continue to draw
tropical moisture northward into southern California today through
Friday night, with scattered showers and a chance for thunderstorms.
Chances for wetting rainfall range from 30 to 50 percent for the
mountains and deserts to 20 to 35 percent for areas bordering
eastern Los Angeles County. Cooler, drier, and breezy in the
mountains and deserts for Saturday through Monday. For Tuesday and
Wednesday of next week, a low pressure system moving south along
the West Coast will bring stronger westerly winds and a chance of
showers, with chances for wetting rainfall of 20 to 30 percent
for the coast to the mountains.
