.DISCUSSION...
Drier weather will continue for today, with humidity values of 15
to 25 percent across the mountains and inland areas. Above-normal
temperatures are expected for Monday and Tuesday with a Heat
Advisory in effect. There will be a gradual cooling trend towards
the end of next week with higher RH values remaining, although
decreasing each day heading into the following weekend. Monsoonal
moisture returns late tomorrow, with increasing chances of
thunderstorms, especially by Tuesday afternoon. Main threats with
any storm will be dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning, gusty
winds, and brief heavy rain. Storm chances will prevail through
the end of the week for the mountains and deserts with humidity
region-wide above 20 percent.
