Gradual warming and drying expected today through Thursday.
Chances for a weak to moderate event are now 40% Tuesday, 70%
Wednesday, and 50% Thursday. Winds will generally be confined
to the usual passes, canyons, and coastal slopes with peak gusts
of 35-50 mph on Wednesday. While relative humidity may drop
below 15%, especially Wednesday and Thursday, recent rainfall
will mitigate the fire weather threat. Cooler Friday into next
weekend with a 15% chance of precipitation Saturday afternoon,
increasing to 25-35% on Sunday for the mountains westward.
