.DISCUSSION...
Monsoonal moisture will remain in place through Friday with scattered
thunderstorms for the mountains and deserts each afternoon with
the greater coverage over the mountains and the relatively greater
rainfall over the mountains of Riverside and San Diego Counties.
A large low pressure system will move slowly inland into the
western states for next week. The greatest drying is expected from
Sunday through Tuesday with no precipitation expected for next
week. There will be a cooling trend through Wednesday of next week
with high temperatures next Wednesday as much as 8 to 12 degrees
below average for some inland areas.
