.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry today and tomorrow with well-above-normal
temperatures and a Heat Advisory in effect for areas west of the
mountains today and tomorrow. Monsoonal moisture moves in later
this evening and into tomorrow morning, dropping temperatures and
bringing precipitation chances. Showers may develop region-wide
Tuesday morning, with thunderstorm chances more confined to the
mountains on Tuesday. Gusty and erratic winds, lightning, and
heavy rain all possible in any storm. Lower chances of
thunderstorms each afternoon in the mountains through the end of
the week. Minimum humidity will generally be above 20 percent each
day after Tuesday. Drier and cooler weather sets in by the end of
the week into the weekend, with minimum relative humidity values
dropping as low as 15 percent.
