.DISCUSSION...
Santa Ana winds out of the north and east near 25-40 MPH this afternoon
will continue to become more localized to coastal slopes by this evening
into Thursday morning. A cooling trend is expected by Friday into the
weekend, where higher humidity will spread inland as well. An area of
low pressure will pass by to the north of the region, which may yield
light precipitation amounts to higher terrain by Sunday. Offshore flow
will make a return by early next week as another weather system moves
closer to the area. The track of this system remains highly uncertain,
so we may see an increased chance for showers or increasing Santa Ana winds
by Tuesday or Wednesday.
