.DISCUSSION...
Showers, locally heavy at times, will continue this morning,
becoming more scattered this afternoon. There is a 15-20% chance
of thunderstorms this morning as well. Showers become isolated to
scattered late today and continue into Saturday, most widespread
over the deserts and adjacent east-facing mountain slopes. The
snow level will be near 6000-6500 ft this morning, rising to 6500
ft for this afternoon into Saturday morning, then rising to 7000
ft Saturday afternoon. Precipitation ends by Saturday evening.
Gradual warming and drying takes place through Thanksgiving, with
the potential for weak to moderate Santa Ana Winds Tuesday through
Thanksgiving, peaking on Wednesday.
