.DISCUSSION...
Monsoonal moisture will be in an abundance through Wednesday.
Areas of showers and thunderstorms will continue through the
afternoon with less chances overnight. Scattered thunderstorms
will once again be possible over the mountains, deserts, and
adjacent valleys west of the mountains by Wednesday afternoon.
The greatest chances for wetting rainfall are over the mountains
and high desert at 30 to 50 percent. Thunderstorms would produce
cloud-to-ground lightning, brief heavy downpours, and strong
gusty winds over 45 mph. Chances for mainly afternoon and
early evening thunderstorms, mainly for the mountains and deserts,
will gradually decrease for Thursday into the weekend with cooler
weather expected.
