.DISCUSSION...
Gusty northeast to east winds will continue today, with winds
becoming lighter after 1800. Peak gusts this afternoon up to 25-30
mph. The offshore winds persist into Thursday, but gusts only to
10-15 mph expected in the morning, becoming lighter by Thursday
afternoon. With the Santa Ana winds, dry conditions expected today
into Thursday with afternoon humidity near 15 percent and fairly
poor overnight recovery to 30-40 percent tonight. With onshore
flow resuming Thursday night into Friday, moisture increases with
temperatures cooling heading into the end of the week. A storm
system may bring a few showers on Sunday, however, chances for
rain is low and any precipitation amounts will be light.
