.DISCUSSION...
Winds will remain very gusty out of the north through this
afternoon before weaker winds into Tuesday morning. 20ft gusts may
reach 30-40 mph at times today, most likely before noon. These
north winds will usher in drier air, with 20% afternoon humidity
today and 16-18% for Tuesday afternoon, and poor overnight
recoveries. With lighter winds and a return to southwesterly flow
in the typical diurnal pattern Tuesday, moisture will improve on
Wednesday with morning humidity around 80% and afternoon min RH
around 28%. Temperatures will generally be at or below normal
through the week. Precipitation chances have dropped off
substantially, with less than a 5% chance of light rain on
Wednesday. Winds will become northerly again on Wednesday, with
periodic 20ft wind gusts up to 35 mph Wednesday afternoon into
Thursday morning.
