...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 2
AM PST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...South winds increasing to 10 to 20 kts with gusts up to
  25 kts this afternoon, becoming west tonight. Seas 5 to 9 feet
  in the outer waters, 4 to 6 feet in the inner waters.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters from San Mateo Point to the Mexican
  Border and out to 10 nm and Waters from San Mateo Point to the
  Mexican Border Extending 10 to 60 nm out including San
  Clemente Island.

* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 2 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong south winds precede a front moving
  through the waters this afternoon and early evening, followed
  by westerly winds behind the front tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should pay close attention to the marine forecast...and
consider wind and sea conditions in planning.

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
