...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SAN DIEGO COUNTY
THROUGH 345 PM PDT...

At 252 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Pine Valley, or near Mount Laguna, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Laguna, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, I-8 Between Pine Valley And
Boulevard, Pine Valley, Descanso, Hwy S1 Between Lake Cuyamaca And
Mount Laguna, Lake Morena, Campo, Guatay, Manzanita Indian
Reservation, and Japatul Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
