...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 PM CST THIS
AFTERNOON FOR HOWARD, NORTHWESTERN LITTLE RIVER, SEVIER, MCCURTAIN,
NORTHWESTERN BOWIE, FRANKLIN, RED RIVER AND NORTHWESTERN TITUS
COUNTIES...

At 1128 AM CST, Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen across
the warned area, although rainfall is gradually decreasing. The
expected rainfall rate is 0.25 to 0.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional
rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned
area. Flash flooding is already occurring and could continue in the
vicinity of small creeks and streams over the next few hours.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

  De Queen, Clarksville, Dierks, Horatio, Foreman, Boxelder,
  Hagansport, Umpire, Idabel, Broken Bow, Mount Vernon, Bogata,
  Lockesburg, Winthrop, Gillham, Arkinda, Manchester, Bagwell,
  Wilkerson and Athens.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
