.DISCUSSION...
Some patchy fog will be possible across our Deep East Texas and
adjacent Central Louisiana fire districts again on Monday morning,
but it will diminish by mid-morning. Otherwise, hot and humid
conditions will remain with highs ranging from the mid 90s to
around 100 degrees. Because of this, a Heat Advisory will remain
in effect across all of the fire districts through Monday evening,
and likely continuing for days to follow. Expect mixing heights
to climb above 5000 ft areawide, with min RH values generally
between 35 to 45%. Some isolated afternoon convection can`t be
ruled out, especially for districts in Southern Arkansas and
Northern & Central Louisiana east of I-49 corridor. Most of this
convection will diminish with the loss of daytime heating. Upper
ridging will settle into the area through the first half of the
work week. This should result in mostly dry conditions and hot
and humid conditions, along with enhanced wildfire concerns.
