.DISCUSSION...
Increasingly hot and dry conditions are forecast through the rest
of this week as a strong area of high pressure aloft continues to
dominate the central and southern portions U.S. High temperatures
will range from the upper 90s to lower 100s each day through this
weekend with minimum RH values ranging between 30-45 percent. With
the escalating heat combined with the lack of rainfall, look for
fire danger conditions to become more elevated through the next
week and possibly beyond until we see signs of a pattern shift.
Winds will maintain a south to southwest component throughout this
period with occasional gusts up to 15 mph in the afternoon hours.
