.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire danger will continue through Wednesday as dry and
hot conditions persist. By late Wednesday morning, southeast winds
will become gusty, continuing through the afternoon and into the
evening at 20 to 25 mph as minimum RH values bottom out between
30 and 40 percent. These conditions combined with critically dry
fuels will make for very favorable opportunities for fire starts
and fire spreads. RH values will begin to recover rather
dramatically through the latter half of the week and into the
weekend with increasing rain chances, despite continued gusty
winds. Widespread rainfall amounts over the next 7 days will range
generally from 1 to 3 inches.
