Not expecting patchy morning fog today, but some low clouds will move into portions of the districts along and south of I-20. Hot conditions will continue over the districts today with highs ranging from the upper 90s to right at 100 degrees. We should see dry conditions today. Mixing heights should climb well above 5000 ft, with afternoon RH values generally between 35-45 percent. The 20 ft Winds will remain from the south between 7-12 mph, with slightly higher gusts. A strong upper ridge will remain over the region, keeping hot and dry conditions in place. This could result in the rapid onset of drought over the region, creating elevated wildfire danger and the expansion of burn bans. .REST OF TODAY...
