.DISCUSSION...

Hot conditions will continue areawide today, with the hottest
temperatures of the week expected today along and south of I-20.
Quiet weather will persist through today and tonight, with a few
scattered showers south and east tomorrow afternoon. Minimum
relative humidity values will drop into the 40 percent range.
Mixing heights will climb to between 5500 and 6000 ft. Winds will
become northeasterly today, increasing to maximum sustained
speeds of 10 to 15 mph with gusts of up to 20 mph possible.
