...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN PANOLA...
SOUTHEASTERN RUSK...NACOGDOCHES...WESTERN SHELBY...NORTH CENTRAL
ANGELINA AND NORTHWESTERN SAN AUGUSTINE COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM
CDT...

At 501 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Pinehill to near Lufkin. Movement was east
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Nacogdoches, Carthage, Center, Tenaha, Timpson, Garrison, Melrose,
Pinehill, Martinsville, Trawick, Woden, Minden, Appleby, Mount
Enterprise, Chireno, Gary City, Jericho, Stockman, Fairplay, and
Dotson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
