...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN NATCHITOCHES PARISH
UNTIL 715 PM CDT...
At 634 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles northeast of Campti, or 18 miles west of Winnfield, moving
southwest at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Goldonna, Creston, Clear Lake and Black Lake.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
