...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN LA SALLE...CENTRAL
GRANT AND SOUTHEASTERN WINN PARISHES UNTIL 215 AM CST...

At 126 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles northeast of Colfax, or 23 miles south of Winnfield, moving
northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Colfax, Olla, Midway, Urania, Pollock, Dry Prong, Tullos,
  Georgetown, Rochelle, Zenoria, Williana, Bentley, Lake Iatt and
  Standard.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
