...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN LA SALLE AND SOUTH
CENTRAL CALDWELL PARISHES UNTIL 630 PM CDT...

At 552 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles southeast of Olla, or 18 miles south of Columbia, moving
southeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Jena and Midway.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
