SOUTHWESTERN MORRIS...SOUTHERN TITUS AND CAMP COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM
CDT...

At 657 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Rosewood, or 8 miles south of Leesburg, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Pleasant, Gilmer, Pittsburg, Winnsboro, Leesburg, Lone Star,
Ore City, Rosewood, Scroggins, Newsome, Cedar Springs, Midway, Rocky
Mound, Perryville, Holly Springs, Monticello, Harvard, Lafayette,
Center Point, and Bettie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
