A large upper level high is centered over the lower Mississippi
Valley and is our dominant weather feature. Skies will be generally
clear tonight and mostly sunny on Wednesday. With south winds, lows
tonight will be in the 70s. Temperatures will be seasonably hot
again on Wednesday, with highs ranging from the mid/upper 90s in
our southern counties, to 100-103 degrees in the Big Country and
portions of the Concho Valley. The surface pressure gradient will
support somewhat breezy conditions from mid-morning to early
evening Wednesday.

.LONG TERM...
(Thursday through next Wednesday)

Upper level high pressure will be centered over the lower
Mississippi Valley through the weekend. The upper high will then
migrate northwestward early next week and be centered over north
Texas. This pattern will result in hot and dry conditions
persisting across the area the next seven days. Daytime highs
will range from the mid and upper 90s over southern portions of
the forecast area, to 100 to 103 degrees from the Concho Valley
into the Big Country. Temperatures at night will be warm, with
overnight lows in the 70s.
