Upper ridging will continue to expand in from the east, with with
temperatures increasing 3 to 4 degrees today. Warmest readings
will be in the Big Country with highs in the mid and upper 90s.
Lee trough will not be as strong today, with south wind gusts of
mainly up to 20 mph in the afternoon. Lows tonight will be mainly
in the upper 60s to lower 70s.

(Friday through Wednesday)

The pattern shifts to warmer and drier for west central Texas as
we go into the second half of July. An upper level ridge of high
pressure over the southeastern U.S. will expand eastward into
Texas over the weekend. This will result in hot and dry conditions
for our area. Rain chances will be slim to none this weekend and
into the middle of next week, with any appreciable rain chances
staying to out west. High temperatures will creep up into the
upper 90s to near 100 degrees across the western Concho Valley and
Big Country, with slightly cooler temperatures across the
northwest Hill Country. Overnight lows will be in the lower 70s.

temperature/dewpoints depressions were less than 3 degrees.
