...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  counties, Brown, Crockett, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, San
  Saba, Schleicher and Sutton.

* WHEN...Through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - An upper level disturbance may move north from Mexico,
    bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms to portions of
    the Edwards Plateau, Northwest Hill Country and Northwest
    Hill Country this afternoon and evening. Rainfall amounts of
    1 to 2 inches, with locally heavier amounts of 4 inches
    possible. Soils are saturated and any additional rainfall
    will runoff and produce flash flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
