...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 AM CST THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
counties, Coleman, Concho and McCulloch.
* WHEN...Until 730 AM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 427 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain
has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Gouldbusk, Waldrip, Stacy, Rockwood, Doole, Voss, Pear
Valley, Leaday, Salt Gap, Ivie Reservoir Near Concho Park
Marina, Millersview, Trickham, Mozelle, Us-283 Near The
Mcculloch-Coleman County Line, Shields, Fife, Whon and The
Intersection Of Ranch Road 1929 And Ranch Road 2134.
- This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
FM 0503 crossing Waloope Creek, crossings along County Road
302, County Road 258 crossing Home Creek, County Road 222
crossing Home Creek and County Road 356 crossing Little
Saddle Creek.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
