...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  counties, Irion and Tom Green.

* WHEN...Until 415 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 211 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms from San Angelo to Christoval moving north at
    30 mph.. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up
    to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    San Angelo, Mertzon, Christoval, Tankersley, Twin Buttes
    Reservoir, Knickerbocker, San Angelo State Park, Lake
    Nasworthy, Arden, O.c. Fisher Reservoir, Sherwood, Grape
    Creek, Carlsbad, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Water Valley,
    Orient, Us-67 Near The Irion-Tom Green County Line and
    Harriet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
