.DISCUSSION...

The current winds (as of 355 PM) are from the south at 15 to 17 mph
at the Mesonet 7 miles north-northwest of San Saba. At the San Saba
AWOS site, winds are from the south at 13 mph. Expect winds from the
south-southeast at 10-15 mph into early this evening, with
occasional gusts to around 20 mph. The area near the fire should
lose the wind gusts after 7 PM and winds after 8 PM will be from
the southeast at 6-8 mph. Current RH values are 33-35 percent and
these are near the minimums for the day. For this evening, RH
values will increase above 50 percent by 9 PM, and above 65%
shortly after Midnight. Overnight recovery to maximum RH near
90% is expected by 7 AM. Winds late tonight will be from the
south at less than 5 mph.
