.DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and storms across southern Taylor County will
cross near or just east of the wildfire location by 4 PM. Away
from the storms, light southwest winds will prevail, but may
become gusty and variable as the storms pass nearby. A few wind
gusts above 40 mph are possible, as well as cloud to ground
lightning. Outflow from the storms will likely drop temperatures
and allow humidity values to rise as well. Other isolated showers
and storms will be possible through this evening.

A cold front is forecasted to reach the area later this evening,
likely between 9 and 11 PM, switching winds around to the
northeast at 5 to 10 mph.
