.DISCUSSION...
Lingering moisture from a tropical wave will continue to move
over the region today, promoting another round of heavy showers
and thunderstorm activity, particularly over the central mountain
range; and portions of western and southern Puerto Rico. Winds
will prevail from the southeast at 10 to 15 mph across the area.
Relative humidity values will remain above thresholds over the
southern coastal plains of Puerto Rico (60-65%) due to abundant
moisture across the area. At this time, the fire danger threat
will remain low today.
