.DISCUSSION...
EE-ESE winds will continue increasing today, mainly between 15 -
20 mph, with gusts up to 24 -26 mph. Although KDBI observations
from Guanica, Cabo Rojo, and Cotton Valley in St. Croix exceed the
fire weather criteria (618, 582, and 613 respectively), abundant
moisture should maintain relative humidities above thresholds
(between 55-59%) mainly over the southern coastal plains of Puerto
Rico. Taking in account the current conditions and expected
forecast, the fire danger will remain low for today.
