.DISCUSSION...
A moisture field related to Tropical Storm Jerry will be over the
region today, promoting rounds of heavy showers and thunderstorms,
particularly as afternoon convection over the central mountain
range; and portions of eastern and northern Puerto Rico.
Northeasterly steering flow will gradually become southwesterly.
Relative humidity values will remain at to above thresholds over
the southern coastal plains of Puerto Rico due to this abundant
moisture across the area. Showers and t-storms can also move
towards southern Puerto Rico from the Caribbean Sea. At this time,
the fire danger threat will remain low today.
