.DISCUSSION...
For the fire weather forecast, the main concerns are portions of
the southern coastal plains and eastern interior of Puerto Rico
due to abnormally dry soils. Winds from the east will continue to
increase (between 10 - 15 mph, with isolated areas with gusts up
to 22 mph). Although the 24 hours relative humidity trend may
suggest values to drop below thresholds (around 53%), minimums
should stay above due to the approach of a surface trough that
should increase moisture content across the CWA. Hence, the fire
danger threat should remain once again low for today.
