.DISCUSSION...
Light and variable southerly winds (between 5 - 8 mph) will
continue today across the region due to the proximity of a pre-
frontal trough northeast of the region. Additionally, showers and
thunderstorms associated to the trough are expected mainly over
northern portions of PR. Although the 24 hours relative humidity
trend may decrease over portions of the islands, minimum relative
humidities should remain above thresholds. Hence, given the
expected weather conditions, the fire danger threat should remain
low for today.
