Winds are expected to gradually increase today (between 6 - 11
mph) across the region, shifting from the SE. Once again, the 24
hours relative humidity trend continues to decrease over portions
of the islands, particularly over the southern coastal plains of
Puerto Rico where minimum relative humidities may drop below
thresholds (around 49 %). Nevertheless, these conditions do not
meet fire weather criteria. Hence, the fire danger threat should
remain once again low for today.
