.DISCUSSION...

Seas will continue to range between 4 and 5 feet, occasionally up to
6 feet. Building high pressure north of the region will maintain
moderate to locally fresh easterly winds through at least Friday.
A surface perturbation moving westward across the region will increase the
frequency of showers and thunderstorms late tonight into Friday,
including near Mona Island and the surrounding waters. Some
thunderstorms may become strong, particularly on Friday, and produce
frequent lightning, heavy rainfall, reduced visibility, and wind
gusts of 34 knots or greater. Locally higher seas will also be
possible in and near thunderstorms. In addition, the increasingly
unstable environment on Friday may support the development of
isolated waterspouts.
