This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms are possible across western
Puerto Rico this afternoon and eastern Puerto Rico, including
Vieques and Culebra, tonight. Be aware of thunderstorms in your
area and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly
drained areas across western Puerto Rico this afternoon. Urban
and small streams flooding is possible. Minor impacts are
expected across eastern Puerto Rico tonight.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects anyone without
effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts likely in
some health systems, heat-sensitive industries and
infrastructure.

.Wind...Breezy conditions across coastal areas. Unsecured items
could blow around.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone, particularly in beaches of the north-central,
northwest, southeast, and southwest sections of Puerto Rico.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Since dangerously hot conditions will likely continue, an
Excessive Heat Watch is in place for Thursday. Afternoon
convective development may lead to limited excessive rainfall
impacts, mainly across far western and eastern sections of Puerto
Rico on Thursday. Localized breezy conditions are also likely on
Thursday, especially across southern and northern coastal areas. A
moderate risk of rip current will continue for northern Puerto
Rico through Thursday and for southern Puerto Rico through the
weekend.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms are possible across the
northern US Virgin Islands tonight. Be aware of thunderstorms in
your area and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals
sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling
and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health
systems and in heat-sensitive industries.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone, particularly in beaches of Saint Croix.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Since dangerously hot conditions will likely continue, an
Excessive Heat Watch is in place for Thursday. The rip current
risk will drop to low for all local beaches from Thursday onward.
