This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are
expected across mainland Puerto Rico. Be aware of thunderstorms
in your area and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals
sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling
and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health
systems and in heat-sensitive industries.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Excessive heat will continue each day in the lower elevations of
Puerto Rico, but will diminish through Friday. The risk of rip
currents will return on Tuesday; first to the northern coasts and
then spread around the island Wednesday through Friday. Isolated
to scattered thunderstorms will appear each afternoon mainly in
western and interior locations.

and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health
systems and in heat-sensitive industries.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Excessive heat will continue each day in the lower elevations of
the U.S. Virgin Islands, but will diminish through Friday. The
risk of rip currents will return on Tuesday; first to the northern
coasts and then spread around the islands Wednesday through
Friday. Thunderstorms are possible in and around the local islands
Monday and Tuesday and again on Friday and Saturday.
